Sam Paolini is an illustrator, muralist, zinester, printmaker, teacher, curator and community organizer whose work centers on connection, collaboration, and collective liberation. Their work explores grief, fantasy, and queerness, and is rooted in a lifelong commitment to making creative spaces where everyone belongs.

Sam Pao is gender-free streetwear using all second hand reclaimed materials. Every piece is unique with dyed, screen printed & sewn elements featuring original, psychedelic artwork by Sam Paolini and assembled by Sam and their mom, Laurie.

Gabriel Joy Reid

I’m Gabriel Joy Reid! I’m a cartoonist, animator, and educator originally from Kansas City, Kansas. I graduated from Northeastern University with a B.A. in Film and Animation and from Boston University with an M.F.A. in Visual Narrative. I most often create comics that explore Black trans and queer experiences for middle-grade and young adult readers. From superheroes to social justice, sci-fi to slice-of-life, I strive to bring joy, knowledge, and hope to anyone who reads my work.

Isabella Rotman is a cartoonist and illustrator from Maine. Her art is usually about the ocean, women, crushing loneliness, people in the woods, or sex. Isabella is the author of A Quick and Easy Guide to Consent, co-author of Wait, What? A Comic Book Guide to Relationships, Bodies, and Growing Up, and co-author of Abortion Pill Zine. Isabella is the creator of the This Might Hurt deck family, including This Might Hurt Tarot and This Might Help Oracle. She is the founding Organizer of Comic Arts Maine Portland, the largest indie comics festival in the state of Maine.

Alexandra Gallant-Lee is a multi-award winning cartoonist, artist, designer, zinemaker and science communicator based in the Boston-area. Her work explores nature, science, pop culture and other aspects of the world around us through colorful, often playfully made zines and comics, including her latest comic, BRAINS, an award-winning visual exploration of thinking and perceiving and the joy of using your brain in the face of so-called AI. She also makes comics featuring Lionel J. Frogby, the ‘J’ is for ‘just a little guy’, plus needle felted frogs and other delights, too.
