Pearl House is a small artist collective based in Somerville MA. We produce both printed and hand bound artist books and zines that incorporate various traditional media like watercolor, colored pencil, and crochet. We are also the organizers of Somerville Zine Fest.

I,Wanderer

I Wanderer is a project of self and political expression that prioritizes diverting materials from landfill and making art accessible to all. I operate on a Pay What You Can model, as I believe that everyone should have access to art, and I make space at my table for art by myself and community members where 100% of the purchase price is donated to local mutual aid efforts.

I draw from a variety of techniques, materials, themes, and ideas, often letting the tools and secondhand materials I have guide me in what I create. I will be selling auto-bio/memoir zines, zines about mutual aid and liberation, and some reflective art zines, as well as prints, patches, stickers, clothing and some other goods! And, feel free to bring me some trash, I’ll make it into art.

Sadie Saunders

Sadie is a cartoonist, educator, and community organizer from Boston, MA. Her work focuses on handmade mini-comics, zines, and books that center on joy and humor, often drawing from stories about her own life. In addition to her creative work, Sadie teaches Digital Drawing at Boston University, and she serves as one of the co-directors for MICE (Massachusetts Independent Comics Expo) and has a deep love for indie comics and storytelling.

Artescamp Creations

Artescamp Creations encompasses my creative explorations as a multi-media artist exploring color, creatures, whimsy, and latine culture. My work combines the fantastical and natural worlds via paint, thread, ink, and found materials to celebrate the interconnected and imaginative communities I treasure. While my illustrative work is full of fanciful creatures, strange little guys, and natural magicks, my threadwork holds space for the memories and histories of textile arts, and is a way for me to connect with my latine identity. Finally, my book arts and zines have become a way for me to connect the dots between social advocacy, queer magic, and the importance of rest and play for me.

Arte Por Un Mundo Cuir

Arte Por Un Mundo Cuir, which translates to Art For A Queer World from Spanish, is about creating art that inspires us to build the world we need and desire. Art is powerful and in a world filled with inequity, genocide, transphobia, it is sometimes hard to build because we focus on fighting back against oppressive systems. My art inspires us to imagine the world we are fighting for and reminds us to build it, raise it, grow it together. Arte Por Un Mundo Cuir began with a Free Palestine print I made in a block printing workshop and another print that said Queer the World, Build It Together. Those two prints and being in community have inspired a range of other prints, patches, tshirts, zines, stickers, buttons, and more.

*All my art is on a sliding scale to make art more accessible to all. Some of the profits from my art are donated to mutual aid funds in Gaza.
